Roger A. Renfrew, MD, FACP

Medical Director, Redington Fairview General Hospital

Roger Renfrew is an internist and geriatrician with more than three decades experience as a clinician, physician leader and community health advocate in rural Maine. Originally from Massachusetts, he earned an undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and his medical degree from the University of Vermont. He is board certified in internal medicine and has earned advanced certification in geriatrics. His early experience includes two years with the Indian Health Service on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. Over the years, he has held numerous leadership roles. As a geriatrician, he has serves medical director at three nursing homes. Dr. Renfrew has been medical director at Redington Fairview since 1998 (he also served in that role from 1990-1993). He is past chair of the Maine Medical Assessment Foundation and served on numerous other boards. He is a founding member of the board of directors of the Daniel Hanley Center for Health Leadership.
